Bouillon Castle is certainly one of the finest feudal vestiges in Belgium. Based on the first fortifications constructed in the 8th century, the building was extended and modified until the 18th century.

Bouillon Castle, reputed to be impregnable, was built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Semois and the town. It offers a magnificent view, as well as a glimpse into the area's distant history.
